One more family shoot was on the books last week - just in time for Christmas cards! Here are a few of my favorites from the session with the Cantadores!

The Last Year

Have Yourself a Mini Little Christmas

This year I had seven families (that's 22 people!) signed up for Christmas mini-sessions!  I was so excited for a full day of shooting at a beautiful location with some new, and some familiar faces! Here's just a snipet of what the sessions resulted in:

No, I didn't mis-count.  Yes. I know that's only four families... two of the families had to reschedule at the last minute because they caught the flu :(   Poor guys, I hope they feel better soon!
The other 'missing' family is getting her own post - she used her session time for some senior photos, so stay tuned :)

Eyeshadow and Lipgloss

These girls were absolutely gems to photograph - and the littlest one was so excited she got to wear a bit of make up for the special occasion!  Eyeshadow and lipgloss - the way to a three year old girl's heart :)

Growing with Nicholas - 9months

... well, he's almost 9 months.  It was getting close to Christmas so we bumped his session up a bit to get some family shots in there too :)  I had a lot of fun seeing these kiddo's again!

   

    

 And I'm super excited to celebrate with these two...

 When the tie the knot at the end of the month!  Yay!

A Change of Heart

I was so excited to see the Mattingly family again and capture their adorable little ones!  But this precious girl... was not so excited.

It took some time, and a little warming up (literally and figuratively!), but she finally started having some fun - and we got some great shots of her, her sweet little brother, and of course mom & dad too!

   

It wasn't until he picked up this stray newspaper that we realized he was kind of dressed like a Newsie :)

 Everyone had fun playing in the leaves!!  Well... almost everyone ;)

An Unexpected Smile

I held this sweet boy...

just hours after he was born.  And he's been hiding from my camera ever since.
But on this day, he was actually excited to see me!  He was all smiles, and giggles and fun and wanting to have his picture taken!  I couldn't help but oblige him :)

 Even when he thought he was hiding behind the 'Christmas' tree :)

This precious girl wasn't quite as keen on getting in front of the lens, but she let me follow her around while she played, and I was okay with that!
