Growing with Adriana

This adorable little one is only three months old but she's all sorts of cute!

Daddy's little Hoosier! :)

Love those little stockings!

She was so tired, by the end of our session she just fell asleep in Momma's arms!  So sweet!

I'm so looking forward to seeing her grow up - thanks for letting me capture your little one as she grows Murray family!

Do you have a little one?  Know someone who does?  Check out our new discounted Grow With Me packages on the Session Info page!

Fall Fun!

I love the fall!  The cooler temps... the bold colors on the trees, the bright gourds... not to mention it means I get to capture Jack's 6 month birthday (and the rest of the family, of course) at the park!  Here are some of my favorites from the session:

Such a beautiful family!

The adorable factor of these kids is insane!  I could photograph them all day!

Love this mommy-daughter moment!

Look at the way big sis is looking at her little brother... so sweet!

Cuteness squared.

SUCH a beauty!

Happy 6 month birthday Jack!
Thanks for allowing me to capture your family as the grow, Holtmans!

A Rite of Passage

Turning thirteen is kind of a big deal.  I mean.  That officially puts one in the 'teenager' category.  And for a girl who loves being a girly-girl and all that entails... it's a rite of passage.... because now.... she can wear makeup!
Amy wanted to do something a little more special for her step-daughter's 13th though.  She didn't just want to throw make up in a gift bag and say 'Happy Birthday!'.  She went all out.
The day started with a new haircut and style, then they moved on to friend's house for an hour and a half of Mary Kay pampering and training on how to take care of teenage skin, and of course how to put makeup on!  The day was only half over though - here's where I come in.  We headed to Uptown Charlotte for a picnic in the park, followed by a model-esque photoshoot for the made-over thirteen year old and her best friend.  Now if that's not an amazing 13th birthday celebration, I don't know what is!  The girls had a blast, and so did I!  Here are some of my favorites from the session!

Yes, people.  She's only thirteen.
Thanks Turner family for letting me be a part of such a special day for Mackenzie!
Mackenzie- you are beautiful inside AND out, girl!

chris + keri = engaged

A HUGE congrats to Chris & Keri who will be tying the knot next May!  We headed to the farm to capture their excitement as they look forward to a lifetime together...
It rained for the first half hour of our session so we were confined to the horse barn for a while...

The sun finally peeked out and we rushed out into the mud while the sunrays were peering through the clouds!

As we were headed away from the fence Keri looked down and found this...

Can you believe it?!  She found a four-leaf clover amongst thousands just as we were walking around... now if that's not a good sign of things to come for them... I don't know what is! ;)

The farm also had a beautiful field of sunflowers... and I couldn't resist the contrast of the grey skies with the bright yellow sunflowers (my favorite color!).
After our fun on the farm we cleaned off our boots and headed to the park...

Chris and Keri thank you so much for allowing me to share in the joy of your engagement!  You are an amazing couple and I wish you only the best and biggest blessings in your marriage!

*I'd like to thank the folks over at Hodges Farm for allowing us to use their gorgeous property... and for allowing us to hang with the horses while the rain poured down!
